Tim is a great driving instructor, he’s super patient and makes you feel very comfortable driving. He has great knowledge of all the road rules and teaches in a way that’s really easy to understand. Highly recommend for anyone of any skill level, he’s a great instructor but his jokes might need some improvement!

If you’re reading this review just book already! Tim is such an outstanding instructor, can’t recommend him highly enough. Apart from being an absolute legend, he is a dedicated professional, a clear communicator, and is sure to instil confidence and the skills to get your license. The booking system is so easy to use and have your lessons organised in the click of a few buttons- only choose Tim at Detour Driving School if you want to get your license sooner than you thought you could!

I’m a relatively nervous driver and always lacked confidence behind the wheel. I began lessons with Tim after having him recommended and just after one lesson I began to feel so much more calm and at ease with driving. tim was amazing. through previous driving instructors i went for my test and sadly failed but tim he made me feel as comfortable as possible on the road and made me a much more confident driver. through doing lessons with him i went for my vort test and passed couldn’t be more happier as i know how to control and drive well and that’s all thanks to tim!!!

I provide high quality driving lessons in Adelaide’s western and south-western suburbs to prepare students for their VORT. I have an absolute passion for driving and draw on more than two decades of professional driving experience to successfully train my students to become safe and responsible drivers for life.

At Detour Driving School, safety comes first. I tailor lessons to cater for your unique needs and learning style, ensuring high-quality instruction for all. Whether you’re a beginner, a seasoned learner or seeking an International licence conversion you will receive patient and supportive guidance. My lessons are affordable with a simple online booking process so you can book or cancel lessons at times which suit you – no back-and-forth texts and calls to arrange lessons with your Instructor! I have no lesson cancellation fees and accept payment via cash, PayID or PayWave with Tax receipts available.
